The 3 day’s gorilla tour takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site which is the best place in Uganda to track mountain gorillas. The park protects 50% of the world’s mountain gorilla’s population and has several habituated groups which can be tracked. The forest is also a bird-watcher’s paradise with 348 species recorded. Located in south western Uganda, Bwindi covers 124 square miles (320 square kilometers). Plain and mountain forest famous for its biodiversity with 120 species of mammals, 202 species of butterflies amid the 200 trees and 100 fern species

Day 1: Pick up from hotel in Kampala/Entebbe – drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park.
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking experience & Evening community walk.
Day 3: Travel to Ishasha wildlife reserve for a game drive thereafter back to Kampala/Entebbe airport

Day 1: Travel to Bwindi impenetrable National Park.
After morning breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel by our guide and begin on the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable national park (a home of mountain gorillas) which is found in the south western part of Uganda. En-route stopover at the Equator for informative talk with experiments and also have an opportunity to stand in 2 hemispheres (southern and northern) at the same time as well as take some photography, also buy some souvenirs from craft shops. Continue to Mbarara where you will stop for lunch and then proceed through rural countryside of Uganda. Keep an eye out on the rolling hills and the beautiful scenery where you can see the triangular peaks of the Virunga volcanoes of Rwanda and the Congo to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking and Batwa community walk

Have an early morning breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing by the ranger guides before embarking on your gorilla trek. The tour guides will then take you to track the endangered world giants’ mountain gorillas pushing your way through the undergrowth and parting thick creepers. Gorilla trekking can take 1 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. After meeting the gorillas, you can sit around these great apes for 1 hour gazing into their big round eyes. On a gorilla tour, a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking shoes. After tracking the gorillas, you will have your packed lunch, Later return back to the lodge and in the evening you may choose to relax at the lodge or visit the Batwa (pygmies)community which will expose you to their culture basing on how they live, dance, and also hearing stories concerning their culture which will leave you amazed. Have dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Travel to Ishasha wildlife reserve and return to Kampala 
In the morning after your breakfast travel to Ishasha wildlife reserve famous for tree climbing lions, hugged herd of Elephants and then back to Kampala with stopovers for photography and lunch reaching late in the evening. You will be transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight or to the airport for your scheduled flight back home.
